Windows 10 Pro Heads Home as Microsoft loosens up the downgrade server

Latest update Microsoft activations servers appear to be dead. Some of the users of Windows 10 saw that their Pro systems had somehow vanished. Matt Wadley, the user of Twitter was the first one who complained that when he followed an update to newly launched Insider built of next year’s Windows, his device all of a sudden thought that it had Home Licence of Windows 10.
Insider builds 18277 that was visible yesterday has so many goodies that include improvements to Focus Assist to stop the notifications bothering the customers accessing apps in fullscreen mode. Betterments to High DPI and a fascinating setting to permit users to manage the camera. It did not mention anything regarding the borking license of the machine.

The issue was not just confined to those brave souls trying the preview code but over a variety of versions of Windows 10. Massive range of problems reported appears to be from those who have upgraded from the last version. Although issues have been reported with the fresh installs as well. Thankfully the issue wasn’t ever evolving. Just set up Hyper V or all other goodies found in Windows 10 Pro.

Microsoft has given no official statement on the issue, the users have claimed that hardworking support operatives have clarified that there is obviously a temporary issue with activation server related to Pro edition. Customers who are troublesome are told to sit and wait for a fix. IT may take time.

People have been reporting that the licensing issue is troubleshot. You only need to click on the Troubleshoot, and it should resolve by then. It is being told that you may have the need to reboot and run Windows update. Microsoft’s senior director Jeff Jones said that they are working to restore product activations.

If you are not getting rid of activation error then don’t worry as it should get clear itself. According to a Microsoft spokesperson, a limited number of the customers have gone through an issue of activation that has been addressed by engineers recently. Customers who have been affected will see the resolution in upcoming days. They can always continue to use Windows 10 Pro as usual.
