How to Delete Music on Your iPhone


You can remove certain music items like artists, albums and songs from your iPhone.

Method One: Deleting Music from iPhone’s Hard Drive

●        Go to your iPhone’s Settings
It will be marked as a grey app with gear like icon.
It can be found easily on your Home Screen.

●        Click General
This option will be available towards the bottom of the screen.

●        Click Storage and iCloud Usage.
It will be located at bottom.

●        Click on Manage Storage.
It will be under the Storage section.
This section will be at the top of the page.

●        Click on Music
With a multicolored musical note on its front, it will be the white app.
As the amount of space organizes all the apps, they take.
Location of your Music app may vary.

●        Choose what you want to delete
It is up to you if you're going to remove each song from your iPhone.
1.       From the All Songs category at the top, you can delete the artist from the list below All Songs.
2.       You can also be a little more specific.
3.       Click the name of any specific artist.
4.       You will see their Albums page.
5.       Click specific album’s name to view its songs.

 

●        Click Edit
1.       It will be the rightmost edge of the screen.
2.       It will be on any of the pages within Music section.

●        Click the red circle to the left of the option
Ensure that you are doing this next to song, artist or album you want to remove from iPhone.

●        Click Delete
1.       It will be on the right side of the option you have selected.
2.       If you do so, it will immediately remove song, artist or album from both Music app and from iPhone.

●        Click Done
1.       Just tap done when you are finished.
2.       You will find this option in the top right edge of the screen.
3.       Your chosen items now must have gone from your gadget.


Second Method: Deleting Songs from Music App


●        Go to Music
This app will look like a musical note on white background.

●        Click Library
1.       It will be in the bottom left edge of the screen.
2.       Skip if Music opens to Library page.

●        Click Songs
1.       It will be found at middle of screen.
2.       Although you can't delete artists or the albums from the Music app.
3.       You can remove the individual song.

●        Click a song
Do this to play it in a tab at the bottom of the screen.
You may need to scroll down to find your song.


●        Click the song’s tab
1.       Right at bottom.
2.       Do this to pull up song’s page.

●        Click those three horizontal dots.
1.       Again it will be at the bottom.
2.       Situated below the volume slider.
3.       You may need to scroll down first depending upon your phone’s screen size.

●        Click Delete from Library
You will find this option at the top of the pop-up menu.

●        Click Delete Song
1.       It will be situated at the bottom of the screen.
2.       The songs you have chosen will be immediately deleted from your iPhone.
