How to fix “Stocks Unavailable” error in iOS12 and MacOS Mojave

Does an error message appear on your device’s screen saying “Stocks Unavailable, Please try again later,” when opening the Stocks app? Fixing “Stocks Unavailable” error in Stocks app
The problem with this Stocks Unavailable error lies within the identifier, which is Identifier for the Stocks app, other than the Adverting Identifier in Settings > Privacy.

The solution that worked for many people is that upon resetting the identifier. Doing so would make the Stocks app start working again. To do so, follow the easy steps as mentioned below to resolve the Stocks Unavailable error in the both iOS12 and Mac OS respectively:
Resetting Identifier on iOS12

  • Go to the Settings and scroll down to find Stocks.
  • Tap the Stocks.
  • Turn the Reset Identifier switch on.
  • Go back and restart the Stocks app.

Resetting Identifier on MacOS Mojave

  • Open the Stocks app.
  • Tap on the Stock option located on the top left corner of the screen.
  • Select the Reset Identifier option.
  • Exit and re-launch the Stocks app.

That’s it! Practicing the steps in the same manner as mentioned above will fix the issue. Your Stocks app will now start working and running on both of your devices – iOS12 or MacOS Mojave.
